We are looking for a Senior Mobile Testing Engineer who is passionate about ensuring exceptional quality through mobile test automation and continuous testing.
Role Overview
As a Senior Mobile Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for validating native mobile applications across Android or iOS platforms. You will design and maintain automation frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Android or iOS mobile applications.
- Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Appium and industry-standard testing frameworks.
- Validate application functionality across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and QA teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
- Execute API validation and integration testing for backend services supporting mobile applications.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Participate in test planning, defect analysis, release validation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Required Skills
- 6–11 years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on Mobile Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience in Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Experience testing Android or iOS native mobile applications.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java.
- Experience with automation frameworks using Selenium and TestNG/JUnit.
- Good understanding of REST API Testing and backend integration testing.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
